SOVA, Jacqueline Ann "Jackie" - Age 70, of Flint, died Sunday, October 11, 2015. A memorial service will be held 3PM Wednesday October 14, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 1PM until time of service on Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Jacqueline was born in Saginaw, MI, on January 29, 1945, the daughter of the late Wayne Hayes and Merlyn Geraldine (Shanks) Burch. She married Michael William Sova in Flint, Michigan on August 26, 1977. Jackie was an avid animal lover, especially loving horses and dogs. She retired from the City of Flint Police Department in 1993 with 25 years of service. Surviving are: husband, Mike of Flint; sister, Bonnie Burch of FL; brother, Kevin W. Burch of Ohio; nephew Marc Viens of FL; niece Kimberly Roe of Fenton; great niece Cassandra Roe of East Lansing. Online condolences may be posted on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
