LEHR, Jacob, age 84, of Flint, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Crestmont Healthcare Center. Funeral Services will be 12PM Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Michael Thomas officiating. Interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9PM Sunday; 1-9PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Jacob was born August 1, 1925 in Flint the son of the late Peter and Maria (Wonder) Lehr. He was a veteran of the the U.S. Marine Corps serving as Sergeant from 1943-1952. Jacob married Wanda Paulsen on September 9, 1949 in Chicago. He was employed as a route driver by Franchi Beer Distributor until his retirement. Jacob was a member of Swartz Creek Mason Lodge #458 and of Kishma Grotto M.O.V.P.E.R. Surviving are his wife, Wanda of Flint; daughter, Marianne Keene (Bob) of Swartz Creek; son, Brian Lehr (Kim Thayer) of Flint Twp.; 6 grandchldren, Melissa Clark (Jeff), Ryan Keene, Jay Lehr (Amy), Matthew Lehr, Scott Wilber, Jamie Lehr; 2 great-grandchildren, Alexander and Chelsea; sister, Emma Wagner (Keith) of Clio. He was also preceded in death by his son, Monte Lehr in 2007; siblings, Millie, Alex, Henry, Peter Jr., and Lydia.
