Jacob Herbert JUIP

JUIP, Jacob Herbert - Age 89, of Grand Blanc, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Caretel Inns of Linden. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Saturday, January 7, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Friday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and at church Saturday, from 9:30 AM until time of Mass. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home Friday at 7:00 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Juip was born August 31, 1922 in Warren, the son of Jacob and Mary (Halmich) Juip. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. He married Virginia Spranger March 15, 1945 at St. Clements Catholic Church in Centerline and she preceded him in death July 29, 2011. Mr. Juip retired from Kelsey Hayes and had been employed by Federal Mogul-Bower Roller Bearing Division for many years. Surviving are: 3 sons, Kenneth and wife Patricia of Grosse Ile, Brian and wife Micki of White Lake and Robert and wife Beverley of Fenton; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
