Jack Raymond Zieglar

ZIEGLAR, Jack Raymond, age 80, of Linden, died Monday, January 15, 2024.  Born on August 9, 1943, to the late Dwight and Catherine (nee Sardynski) in Detroit, Michigan.  Beloved husband for 42 years to the late Gloria (Cooper), loving father to Heidi, Laura (deceased), Jimmy (deceased), Christine, and Frank (wife Lisa).  Dear brother to June, Lelani, and Duke who have all preceded him in death.  Loving grandfather, uncle, cousin to many that brought so much joy to his life.

Jack was proud to serve as a Marine before spending his life working in the Tool & Die Industry.  Please consider donating to your local VFW or American Legion and get to know the wonderful things they do in assisting your community.

We are grateful to all the priests who visit the sick and dying in our hospitals.  Jack was blessed to receive the sacraments of confession, communion and anointing of the sick in the days leading up to his death.

The family would like to thank everyone at Elara Caring Hospice who took care of Jack, treating him like family. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to bow your head.  Pray the Our Father, Hail Mary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, and the Holy Rosary.  Renew your faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He is the Light of the World.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 6481 Faussett Rd, Howell, Michigan from 10-11am followed by a funeral mass, burial, and luncheon.
