STRINGHAM, Jack E., age 63, of Linden formerly of Jackson, died Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Genesys Health Park.  Funeral Services will be held 4PM Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at First Congregational Church, 6494 S. Belsay Rd., Grand Blanc. Pastor Melvin Santos officiating.  Visitation will be held 5-8PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.  Jack was born October 16, 1942 in Jackson, the son of Albert Frank and Catherine (Way) Stringham.  Jack married Sharon Tappenden in Jackson on January 27, 1968.  He was a member of Jackson Seventh Day Adventist Church.  On June 1, 2006, Jack retired from GM after 28 years of service.  Jack enjoyed woodworking, but most of all his grandchildren were his pride and joy.  He is survived by his wife  for the last 28 years, Sharon of Linden; 2 children, James (Heather) Stringham of Ann Arbor, and Janell (Shayne) Daughenbaugh of Lincoln, NE; 4 grandchildren, Xavier, Ellie, Nathaniel, and Natalie; his sister Cathy Smith of Jackson; brother Jerry (Molly) Stringham of Cantonment, FL; and close friend Stephen (Sabrina) Riley of Lincoln, NE.  He is preceded in death by his parents.  Those desiring may share online condolences or post a tribute at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
