DERBY, Jack Michael - Age 55, of Flushing, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009 at home. Services will be 5PM Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Good Shepherd Christian Reformed Church, 8163 Coldwater Rd., Flushing with Pastor Adrian Eising officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for daughter Eva's college fund. Jack was born December 10, 1953 in Flint, the son of the late John and Mary (Agnew) Derby. He married Tammy Buczek on August 6, 1983 in Flint. Jack was employed by General Motors as a hi-lo truck driver until his retirement in 2006. He was a member of UAW Local #598 and the Flying Wheels Motorcycle Club. Jack loved riding his Harley Davidson Chopper; was proud of his 1957 red Corvette and had enjoyed sky diving. Surviving are his loving wife of 25 years, Tammy; daughter, Eva; faithful pet Pomeranian, Mickey; sister, Pauline (Mark) Kearney of Kokomo, IN; nephew, Matt (Kelley) Kearney and children, Ethan and Evan; father-in-law, Walter (Patricia) Buczek of Lennon.
