CRAIG, Jack Lavern "John" - Age 81, of Genesee Township, died February 7, 2017. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1PM Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5199 Richfield Rd. Flint. Interment to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 4-8PM Friday with a rosary at 5:30 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint, and 12PM Saturday until the time of Mass at church. Those desiring may make contributions to Alzheimers Association or American Diabetes Association. Jack was born March 24, 1935 in Flint, the son of John F. and Bessie (Coulter) Craig. Jack and Elizabeth left for New York in 1963. He was an opera singer in New York, and had an extraordinary singing voice. Later in life Jack worked in home improvement as a painter. He had a million dollar smile. Jack is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth; children, Curtis Craig, Sherry (Craig) Renyak, Dennis (Joni) Craig, Carol (Tom) Bowles; fourteen grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Oscar Lecea; brother, Dana (Cindy) Craig; sisters-in-law, Hattie Campbell, Lynn Miesen.
