Jack Auken

VAN AUKEN, Jack Holmes - Age 80, of Fenton, died July 23, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Pastor Jeff Jaggers officiating. Interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at 2-8 PM Monday, 10-11 AM Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association. Mr. Van Auken was born August 29, 1933 in Dearborn, Michigan, the son of Clayton and Donna (Graff) Van Auken. He was a 1951 graduate of Holly High School and attended MSU. Jack served in the US Army. He worked for General Motors and retired with 33 years of service. He was a member of Fenton United Methodist Church. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed woodcarving. He is survived by his children, Mark, Teal (David) Roe; grandchildren, Katlyn Roe, Andrea Roe, Kimberly Roe; brother, Robert. He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Darlene and Betty.
