Mr. WRIGHT, Ivan Elwood, age 67, of Flint, died Monday, September 15, 2008, at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 10AM Friday, September 19, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday 3-5 & 7-9PM at the funeral home, with a Masonic Service at 7:30PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Swartz Creek Masonic Lodge #458. Ivan was born May 30, 1941 in Flint, the son of the late Bruce and Lulu (Main) Wright. He married Elaine Carr October 17, 1964 in Flint. He was employed by General Motors as a small mill operator, retiring after 37 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Swartz Creek Masonic Lodge #458. Surviving are his wife, Elaine, 3 sons, Scott (Christine) Wright of Howell, Roderic (Lora) Wright of Flint, Chad (Wendy) Wright of Flint; 2 grandchildren, Roderic Wright Jr., and Jasmine Rose White; 2 sisters, Evelyn (George) Ludington of Atica, Faye (Howard) Hagon of Flint. The family extends thanks to the Procedure Clinic; I.C.U.; doctors and staff at Hurley Medical Center and special thanks to Dr. Ravi Peddireddy.
