Ivadell Fletcher

Fletcher, Ivadell Orpha "Ivy" - Age 90, of Durand and Swartz Creek, formerly of New Port Richey, FL. died October 31, 2018. Her family will gather privately. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, our temporary location at Hill Creek Church 5363 Hill Rd. Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to The Lodges Of Durand. Ivadell was born August 5, 1928 in Flint, the daughter of Walter and Wanda (Waldschmidt) Denler. Ivadell was an avid cook and painter. She was a member of American Business Women's Association and the Order of the Eastern Star. Ivadell is survived by her sister, Betty Thomason of Jackson; son, Walter (JoAnn) Fletcher of Swartz Creek; daughter, June (John) Steede of High Pointe, NC; grandson, Matthew Fletcher of Linden; granddaughters, Stacie Heavner of Swartz Creek, Lauren Renwich of Palm Beach, FL.; 3 great-grandsons, Jaxson Fletcher, Tyler Heavner, Mikenzie Heavner; special friends, Ewell and Dee Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Billy Joe Fletcher in 2005. The family extends a special thank you to the staff at the Lodges of Durand and McLaren Hospice.
