Irving Gooding

GOODING, Irving Earl - Age 67, of Gaines, died Sunday May 8, 2022. A graveside service will be held. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet,13575 Fenton Road, Fenton, MI. 48430.

Irving was born July 2, 1954 in Flint, the son of Darwin E. and Barbara J. (Kammerer) Gooding. He was a 1972 graduate of Lake Fenton High School. Irving married his childhood sweetheart, Pamela G. Simmons. He had resided in Gaines for the past 37 years coming from Lake Fenton. Irving retired in 2006 from GM Truck and Bus after 34 years of service. He enjoyed fishing (especially ice fishing), hunting, gardening, and riding his motorcycles and four wheelers.

Surviving are: his wife Pamela; daughter, Ragen (Kenneth) Rockwell; grandchildren, Michael Gooding and Olivia Kelly; siblings, Donald (Cathy) Hosiner, Gail (Lee) Willett, Vona Peter, and Daryl Gooding; mother-in-law, Pauline Gibson; sister-in-law, Debbie Aplin; and several nieces and nephews.
