Iris Casto

CASTO, Iris Eileen- Age 85, of Gaines, died March 29, 2018. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 3 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be Monday, April 2 from 3PM-8PM, and Tuesday from 10AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek. Iris was born October 25, 1932 in Evans, West Virginia, the daughter of William and Pearl (Oldham) Long. She married Thaw Casto and they lived in Gaines for forty plus years raising three sons. Iris is a member of First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, animals and doing puzzles. Surviving are: three sons, Michael (Sharon) Casto, Ronald (Ricky) Casto, and Leslie Casto. Grandchildren, Stephanie Keyes, Stacey (Chris) Zanger, Lony (Shelly) Casto, Jessica (Zach) Clark, Ashley (Brooks) Oesterle, Samantha Casto. Great Grandchildren: Cassady, Emily, Nathan, Kenny, Kayla, Connor, Landon, Jase. Cousins Linda and Larry McCormick. Iris was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Thaw.
