RIED, Irene A. - Age 81, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday November 3, 2018. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday November 8 at St. Mary Queen of Angles Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek. Father Louis Ekka celebrant. Visitation will be held 10AM until time of mass Thursday at the church. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel,our temporary location at Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Road, Swartz Creek (Mundy Township). Irene was born in Flint the daughter of the late Carl and Ann (Kastl) Bierl. She married Friedrich "Fritz" Ried in Flint on March 2, 1957. Irene enjoyed raising roses and gardening. Surviving are: husband of 61 years, Fritz Ried of Swartz Creek; son Ronald Ried of Flint; several cousins and friends. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
