OCENASEK, Irene Frances  age 82, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, September 22, 2005 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, September 24, 2005 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Friday evening. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorial contributions to Avalon Hospice, 2360 Stonebridge Dr., Flint, MI 48532. Mrs. Ocenasek was born May 2, 1923 in Swartz Creek, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Pufka) Trubiro. She married Frank Ocenasek in June of 1948 and he preceded her in death on June 8, 2005. Mrs. Ocenasek retired from AC Spark Plug after 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening. Surviving are: four sisters, Mildred Okenka, Rosie Okenka, both of Lennon, Ann Scerceny, Henrietta Horvath, both of Flushing; brother, Joseph Trubiro and wife, Irene of Swartz Creek.
