Irene Theresa Neal

NEAL, Irene Theresa  age 79, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, February 24, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, March 2, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller, Swartz Creek. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Tuesday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home where a rosary will be prayed Wednesday evening. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Association. Mrs. Neal was born August 6, 1926 in Flint, the daughter of John and Theresa (Timko) Lorence. She married Carl Neal on May 20, 1943 in Flint and he preceded her in death on December 10, 2000. Mrs. Neal worked in sales at Woolworth for 18 years and Target for 12 years. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and the Flint Flying Eagles Coin Club. Surviving are: four children, Carl A. Neal and wife, Darleen of Flint, Deborah and husband, Tom Chaput of Perry, John Neal and wife, Lin of CA, Cathy and husband, Mark Shepheard of TX; 14 grandchildren, Stephanie (Jason) Guyer, Rachelle (David) Stack, CJ (Amanda) Neal, Robert Neal, Roger (Becca) Neal, Richard (Patricia) Neal, Joshua, Brandon and Daniel Neal, Thomas and Kaitlynn Shepheard, Mark, Reilly and Victoria Neal; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward (Diane) Lorence, Albert (Jean) Lorence; many nieces, nephews and friends.
