Irene Marjorie McCULLAH

McCULLAH, Irene Marjorie - Age 97, of LeRoy, MI formerly of Flint, died Friday, June 5, 2009 at Autumwood Nursing Home, McBain, Michigan. Funeral service will be held 1:30PM Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Fr. David Harvey officiating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11AM Tuesday until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Children's Services (formerly Boysville), 8759 Clinton Macon Rd., Clinton, MI 49236-9911. Irene was born May 5, 1912 in Aurora, MO, the daughter of Osie and Hulda Marie (Anderson) Harris and lived in Flint most of her life. She married Samuel Calvin McCullah who preceded her in death August 13, 1966. Mrs. McCullah was employed by General Motors Ternstedt for 15 years. In her younger years she worked at clothing stores in downtown Flint. Surviving are: niece and nephews, Bob (Nadine) Harris of LeRoy, formerly of Linden, James J. Harris of Manistee, Bernard "Jack" (Connie) Harris of Los Angeles, Nancy Croasdell of Manistee; many other nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and great-grandnieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Calvin; brother, Jewell Harris; and sister, Fern Korba Callisen.
