Navarro, Ina Lee - Age 87, loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother died December 14, 2020 at Bella Vita Assisted Living in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Ina was born October 5, 1933 to the late Arthur and Frances (Sommer) Spiekerman, in Saginaw Michigan. She graduated from Reese High School in 1950. Ina worked at the Reese Bank and Trust for 10 years. She also worked as a bookkeeper for small businesses in Reese, Vassar and Caro. She married David D. Navarro on June 3, 1961 at Christ Lutheran Church. They celebrated 58 years of marriage, residing in Reese before Dave died in 2019. She gave back to her community for decades as a dedicated volunteer with Christ Lutheran Church, American Red Cross and Action Thrift Store. She was a long time member of Christ Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, golfing, and playing cards. She was a very accomplished seamstress and loved crocheting and handcrafts. Family and friends treasure her hand made gifts. Ina and Dave enjoyed their annual winter treks to Fort Pierce, Florida where they enjoyed spending time with friends at the Road Runner Travel Resort. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Yvonne (Mark) Whitaker of Chamblee, GA., Colonel (Retired) Jan (Jaime) Apo of Tyrone, GA., and David A. (Emley) Navarro of Davison; grandchildren, Casey Whitaker, Jordan (fiancee Cameron Kennelly) Whitaker, Katie Clay, Lauren Apo, Dylan Apo, David M. (Christina) Navarro, Derek (Brittni) Navarro, Drake Navarro; great-grandchildren, David J. and Dominic Navarro, Braylynn and Everly Navarro; brother, Harley Spiekerman; sister, Verna (Wally) Bringold; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Spiekerman and Dorothy Spiekerman. Ina was preceded in death by four bothers and two sisters, Ramond, Charles, Glenn, and Verne Spiekermann, Eunice Allen and Ida Stockmeyer; brothers-in-law, John Allen and Herb Stockmeyer; sisters-in-law, Marge and Bonnie Spiekerman. Due to the pandemic a private family burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will conduct a memorial service next year. In Lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial gifts to the American Red Cross or Mid-Michigan Hospice.
