Imogene Wolverton

Wolverton, Imogene - Age 72, of Flint, died May 18, 2021. Funeral service will be held 2 PM Sunday, May 23 at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 5151 Lennon Rd. Flint. Pastor Jim Reid officiating. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Saturday, May 22 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, and from 1 PM Sunday until the time of service at the church on Sunday. Imogene was born December 30, 1948 in Bunny, AR. She married James Wolverton, the love of her life, on February 18, 1969. He preceded her in death on September 27, 2002. Imogene was a graduate of Atherton High School and Baker College. She retired from Apria Healthcare. Imogene is survived by her 3 children, Dawn Winnett of Flint, Angie (Jim) Lennox of Grand Blanc, Richard (Jessie) Wolverton of Flint; mother, Dorothy Rosalez; grandchildren, Aaron, Tyler, Riley, Madison;  great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Annalayah, Ava and RJJ; sister, Linda Tripp; special nieces and nephews, Becky, Karina, Sophia, Freya, Lily, Rickey, John, Nick, Skylar, and Hunter; 3 adopted sons, Joey Brooks, Steven Williams, and Jimmy (Heather) Winnett. She was preceded in death by her father S.J.
