Imogene STOINSKI

STOINSKI, Imogene - age 72, of Flushing, died Sunday, November 7, 2010 in Florida surrounded by her family. Services will be held 2 PM Monday, November 15, 2010 at North Flushing Baptist Church, 7500 W. Mt. Morris Rd., Flushing with Pastor Dale Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Saturday and 1-4 & 5-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will also be held form 1 PM until time of service Monday at the church. Imogene was born July 25, 1938 in Harrisburg, AR, the daughter of Hosie Tolbert and Ezilee Kathryn (Williams) Hively. She married Richard Stoinski on November 1, 1969. Imogene retired form General Motors in 1985. She was a member of North Flushing Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and was very active for over 40 years. Where ever Imogene went you knew God was with her. Surviving are: husband, Richard; four sons, Randy (Janett), Timothy (MaryJo), Scott and Ricky Stoinski; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Juanita (Burt) Eversol, Betty (William) Diggs, Mary Radlick; special nephews and nieces, Kathy, Corey, Jason and Janet; many other nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings, Ruth, Hester, William, Willard, Richard, Elzie, Joseph, Junior and Cletis.
