OWEN, Imogene (Eaker), age 91 of Beech Grove, Arkansas and Grand Blanc, Michigan, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2010 in Grand Blanc, Michigan. God's peace surely awaits her. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 31, 2010 at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould, Arkansas, with burial at Beech Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Owen was born February 21, 1919 in Greene County, Arkansas to Grover and Vic (Herrin) Eaker. She was a lifelong resident of Greene County, spending most of her years at her beloved farm in Beech Grove. Paragould is the home of many friends, and northeast Arkansas has always held her heart. Because of declining health, she has resided in Grand Blanc for the past year to be near loved ones who could help care for her. Imogene married William A. Owen in 1937, and he preceded her in death in 1968. She was later married to O.T. Reinhart for many years. He also preceded her in death. Mrs. Owen was a member of the congregation of Oak Grove Church of Christ in Paragould. She leaves many friends and relatives in Arkansas and in Michigan, where her parents and siblings made their homes many years ago. She is survived by the sons and daughters of her sisters and brother: Fran Smith, Jackie Bodine, Norma Sellers, Phil Cooper, Don Poston, Ron Poston, Mike Poston, Rita George, Sandra Owen, Gary Eaker, and Vicki Stanley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and her sisters Lavada Sellers, Wava Cooper, and Ruby Poston, brother, George Eaker, and nephew Larry Poston.
