FRANKS, Imogene (Mansfield) - Age 80, of Fenton, died Sunday, August 22, 2021. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Bishop Jerry F. J. Stoner officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 PM and Thursday from 12 PM until the time of the service. Imogene was born May 19, 1941 in Hornersville, MO, the daughter of Ewin and Edna (Lenderman) Mansfield. She was a graduate of Fenton High School. She married Wilburn Francis Franks July 11, 1960 in Arbyrd, MO. She retired from Fenton Convalescent Home in 1995 as a nurse's aide. Imogene enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Surviving are: her husband Wilburn; sons, Mark (Tammy) Franks of Fenton, David (Deborah) Franks of Troy, and Timothy (LeeAnn) Franks of Linden; grandchildren, Maggen (Mike) Green of Fenton, Amanda Calcaterra of Fenton, Alisha (Jeremy) Fore of Acworth, GA, Shannon (London) Hill of Detroit, Nathan Franks of Southfield, and Ryan Franks of Linden; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Dennis Mansfield of Alabama; sister, Shannon Kay Manfield of Alabama; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Gabrielle Franks; brother, Chester Mansfield; sisters, Dorothy Ellinger, Nona Sheppa, Cindy Salm, and Sue Goodwin.
