TRESKAVICA, Ilinka - age 86, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at her residence. Services will be held 12 PM Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint with Fr. Zivan Urosev and Fr. Rade Obsenica co-officaiting. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 12 PM - 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home where a Parastisis service will be prayed 7 PM Wednesday night. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family. Mrs. Treskavica was born January 21, 1923 in Yugoslavia and had resided in Swartz Creek since 1996. She was a member of St. Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Church in Detroit. Surviving are: four children, Janja (Bogdan) Beslac of Swartz Creek, Dusan (Andja) Treskavica of Serbia, Mara Treskavica, Smilja Treskavica, both of Canada; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Vaso Treskavica in 2004; sister and four brothers. Friends may share an online tribute on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
