Ilene May Holweg

HOLWEG, Ilene May (Bell) - Age 89, of Davison, died on August 26, 2024. Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Friday, August 30, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. with burial following in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service. Ilene was born July 18, 1935 in Fenton, the daughter of Guy and Ellen (Sisson) Bell. She married Roland Junior Holweg on July 31, 1954 in Angora, IN. They celebrated 50 years of marriage before his death in 2004. Ilene raised and sold Chihuahuas for many years. She won many awards in her younger years in 4H Club. She loved Country music, travel, horses and her Chihuahuas. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Judy Zerbe and Gail (Graham) Morgan; grandchildren, Ryan Zerbe, Andrea (Justin) Markell, Clifton T. Saxton; great-grandchildren, Sienna O'Maits, Madison, Harvey and Aubrey Markell. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son-in-law, Randy Zerbe; grandson, Neil Zerbe; four brothers and two sisters.
