Igor "Johnny" Germak

GERMAK, Igor "Johnny" -- Age 62, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday, March 11, 2007. Funeral will be held 11 AM Friday, March 16 at St. Vladimir Church, G-3464 W. Pasadena, Flint, Fr. Bogdan Rybchuk celebrant. Family and friends will gather at the church after 10 AM Friday. Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Wednesday, 1-4 and 6-9 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. A Parastas service will be 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Germak was born May 6, 1944 in Czechoslovakia the son of Ivan and Helen Germak. He had resided in Swartz Creek for many years. He retired from General Motors. He was a member of St. Vladimir Church and was a Tai Kwan Do Master. Surviving are: three children, David (Terry Sue) of Flint, Kristen (Chuck) of Davison, Stephen M. (Leisa) of Flint; two grandchildren HollyAnn and Stephen J.; sister, Luba Gilson of Swartz Creek; two nieces, Tammy and Helen; nephew, Mark. He was preceded in death by his parents.
