KETTLER, Ida V. (Walton) - Age 87, of Flint, died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Tanglewood Assisted Living. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Monday, April 12, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, with Pastor Darrell Bailey officiating. Burial in Mt. Gillead Cemetery, Duncan County, MO. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 5-8 PM and Monday from 1:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of your choice. Ida was born December 30, 1922 in Malden, MO, the daughter of Thomas and Telitha (Hodge) Langston. She married Theron Walton April 9, 1941 in Malden, MO and he preceded her in death May 29, 1983. She had resided in Flint since 1955 coming from Malden, MO. Ida was a member of New Creations Life Ministries. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery and crafts. Surviving are: 2 sons, David and wife Eileen Walton of Flint and Troy and wife Deborah Walton of Burton; grandson, Chad and wife Diana Hagy of California; granddaughter, Michelle Walton of Davison; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 3 children, Doris Walton, Dema Hagy and Neil Walton; 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
