HUNT, Ida M. - Age 101, of Flint, died Wednesday June 26, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, June 28 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, our temporary location, Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Road, Swartz Creek (Mundy Township). Pastor Jeff Lambert officiating. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 12PM - 8PM Thursday and Friday 10AM  until time of service. Ida was born January 28, 1918 in Troy, North Carolina, the daughter of the late John Lee and Emma Rose (Thompson) Freeman. She married Robert Wesley Emory and he preceded her in death in 1948. She then later married William R. Hunt and he preceded her in death in 1985. Ida retired from St. Joseph Hospital, Flint with 15 years of service. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and canning. Surviving are: daughter, Cathy Boone of Flint, sons, Paul W. (Shirley) Emory of Montrose, William (Pamela) Hunt of Flint Township; 8 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Ida was also preceded in death by brothers, Clark Freeman, Luther Freeman, Frank Freeman, William Freeman and sisters, Frances V. Mengel, Mattie Meade, Nellie Dennis and Ella Rose Stinson.
