Ida Fern Holderby

HOLDERBY, Ida Fern  age 91, of Kettering, OH, formerly of Flint, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006 in Beavercreek, OH. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Doug Klein officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Association. Mrs. Holderby was born September 29, 1914 in Mexico, MO, the daughter of Jesse M. and Maude R. (Tredway) Hayes. She married Ora Lavern Holderby on April 12, 1936 and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Holderby retired from AC Spark Plug on June 30, 1975 after 31 ï¿Â½,« years of service. Surviving are: son, George Holderby and wife, Carol of Kettering, OH; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by: six siblings.
