Hurshell Lemire PRINCE

PRINCE, Hurshell Lemire - Age 81, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, January 21, 2011 at Brian's House. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Sunday, 1-4 & 6-8 PM Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to The Salvation Army. Hurshell was born December 14, 1929 in Pochohantas, TN, the son of Elery and Mildred (Newland) Prince. He was married to Patricia Lou Smith on January 3, 1953; she preceded him in death on July 9, 1993. Mr. Prince was a veteran if the U.S. Army, was a Merchant Marine and served in the Naval Reserve. Mr. Prince was a member of Operating Engineers AFL-CIO Local #324. Surviving are: children, David and wife Terri of Burton, Mark and wife Terri of Livingston, TX, Michael and wife Kelly of Flushing, Paul of Swartz Creek, Mary and husband David Purdy, Rachel and husband Terry Mady all of Swartz Creek, Sarah and husband Wayne Zietz of Birch Run; 23 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Travis, Ralph, Wayne, Lloyd, Larry; sister Estelle; many nieces and nephews.
