Hugh E. TINNIN

Tinnin, Hugh E., age 76, of Flint, died Tuesday November 15, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Services will be held 1:00PM Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint. Visitation will be held 4-8PM Thursday and 11AM-2PM and 4PM-8PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Salvation Army or the Old News Boys. Hugh was born February 10, 1935 in Wilson Arkansas, the son of the late Charles E. and Nancy A. (Gromer) Tinnin. Hugh married Wanda A. Cooper on February 14, 1953 in Kennett Missouri. He enjoyed playing music and playing baseball. Mr. Tinnin retired from G.M. Buick plant 81 with 35 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Wanda Tinnin of Flint; children, David (Barbara) Tinnin of Swartz Creek, Vicky (Paul) Nelson of Ypsilanti, Roger (Annette) Tinnin of Sheridan MI; grandchildren, Emlinda, Brett, Julie, Stacy, Mary, Amber, Michelle; grerat-grandchildren, Kayla, Michael, Cole, Kerrison, Kerstyn, Pierce, Kai, Miranda, Karissa, Bobby Jr.;brothers, Melvin Lee (Louis) Tinnin of Clio and Franklin (Bernadine) Tinnin of Flint; many neices and nephews.
