Howard Plourde

PLOURDE, Howard Joseph - Age 88, of Swartz Creek, left this earth to live in his heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, May 29, 2015, at Rockwell Assisted Living in Fenton. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, June 1, 2015 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd, Swartz Creek. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Interment at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 1-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, where a rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM followed by a Knights of Columbus Memorial service. Visitation will also be Monday at church from 10 AM until the time of Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Howard was born August 3, 1926 in Flint the son of Fred and Clara (Greff) Plude. He was a 1944 graduate of Flint Northern High School. He married Elizabeth Eleanor Neumann December 9, 1961 and she preceded him in death March 1, 2015. Howard owned and operated a Mobile Gas Station in Flint. He had previously work for AC Spark Plug. He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and the Swartz Creek Knights of Columbus Council #6694. Surviving are: daughters, Carol (David) Peterie, Judy (Ronald) Root, and Deborah Moomey; son, Howard (Lorijo) Plourde, Jr; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
