Howard Hotchkiss, Jr.

HOTCHKISS, Howard Joseph, Jr. - Age 64, of Fenton, died Thursday, December 11, 2014. Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Fr. David Blazek officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery immediately following. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM and Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A V.F.W. Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home 7:00 PM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Michigan Humane Society. Howard was born November 2, 1950 in Detroit the son of Howard J., Sr. and Doris E. (Labudie) Hotchkiss. He attended Farmington High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army. He had resided in Fenton for the past 35 years coming from Farmington. Howard was a life member of the Fenton V.F.W. Curtis Wolverton Post #3243 and was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Holly and the Holly Moose Lodge. Surviving are: daughter, Ashley; his former wife, Donna Hotchkiss of Fenton; sisters, Sharon and husband John Weir of Holly and Gail and husband Bob Walsh of Hillman; and several nieces and nephews.
