Howard Bodrie

BODRIE, Howard Joseph - Age 90, of Flint, died April 23, 2018. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Howard was born October 9, 1927 in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Phillip and Olive (Doan) Bodrie. Howard graduated from St. Matthews Catholic School and served in the Naval Reserves for 5 years. Mr. Bodrie worked for General Motors Fisher II and the Bus and Truck Plants with 42 years of service retiring in 1988. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 598 and enjoyed every season of the outdoors. Howard enjoyed bow hunting, fishing and later in his life he was an avid bicyclist and swimmer. Surviving are: sons, Dennis (Susan) Bodrie of Plymouth, Bruce (Debbie) Bodrie of TX; daughter, Kathy (Doug) Rayburn of NC; son-in-law, Daniel Gearino of NC; grandchildren, Jennifer, Maxwell, Alex, Megan, Evan; great grandchildren, Madeline and Owen.
