Howard Lewis Austin

AUSTIN, Howard Lewis -- Age 56, of Bancroft, died Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Brian's House Hospice, Davison. Services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of service Wednesday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Brian's House Hospice. Mr. Austin was born January 1, 1951 in Owosso, the son of Irving C. and Ada M. (Slocum) Austin. He married Pamela Munley in Swartz Creek October 3, 1970. He retired from GM Chevrolet Truck and Bus in 2002. Mr. Austin is survived by his wife, Pamela; son, Timothy; grandson, Dakota; his mother, Ada Austin; brother, Dan and wife Sue of Holliston, MA; sister, Laura and husband John Elliott of Swartz Creek; an aunt, cousins, nieces, nephews; and Godson, Brian Beetham.
