Horst "Bill" Dethloff

 

DETHLOFF, Horst "Bill" - Age 71, of Fenton, passed away, October 25, 2023. A Committal Service with Military Honors will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford, Rd, Holly at a later date. Cremation Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Bill was born June 27, 1952 in Wallhausen, West Germany, the son of Walter and Lotte (Scheafer) Dethloff. He married Andrea E. Miner in Fenton on April 21,1991. Bill graduated from Flint Northern High School and later from U.of M. Flint. He enjoyed playing backgammon, chess, and working jig saw puzzles. Bill enjoyed sports of all kinds.

 

Bill is survived by his wife, Andrea Miner-Dethloff; his son, Alexander (Erica) Dethloff; grandsons, Oliver and Boden; stepson, Clement Miner; sister, Christel (James) Gibbons; Bill is also survived by his loving extended family.
