PARSONS, Homer Reginald - Age 72, of Flint, died Friday, July 18, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Tuesday. Homer was born September 4, 1941 in Flint, the son of Paul and Vera (Green) Parsons. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from Buick. Homer is survived by his mother, Vera Parsons; brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Brenda Parsons; sister, Peggy Hyder; children, Julie, Steven, Tracey and Polly Parsons; grandchildren, Meredith and Ashley "Lainie" Haddock, Opal Parsons, Ethan, Garrett and Emma Walt, Morgan Parsons; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
