Hilda Acheson

ACHESON, Hilda Ericka - age 95, of Fenton, died March 12, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden with Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Visitation will be held 3 PM - 7 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at a later date at Crestwood Cemetery. Hilda was born May 17, 1924 in Garfield, NJ, the daughter of Otto and Bertha (Kirchoffer) Kohler. She married William C. Acheson on March 17, 1946 and he preceded her in death on July 5, 1996. She was a life member of the Fenton VFW Auxiliary, Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Red Hat Club, Loose Center, Forget-Me-Nots, and the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are: son, William (Virginia) Acheson, Jr. of Naples, FL; daughter, Cheryl Reed of West Palm Beach, FL; two granddaughters, Michele (Tim) Tucker and Ashley (Ian) Klukowski; great-grandson, Brice Allen Tucker. She was also preceded in death by: her brother, Rudy Kirchoffer; two sons, Michael and James Acheson; daughter, Lynne Acheson.
