Herman Convis

Convis, Herman Lyle "Jack"- Age 79, of Clio, died October 12, 2017. A memorial will be held with luncheon to follow at 12:00 PM Saturday, October 21, 2017 at New Hope Church, 9885 Maple Road, Birch Run, Michigan 48415. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family. Mr. Convis was born on May 3, 1938 to J.D.and Berneice (Botsford) Convis. He attended Northern High School. Jack served in the United States Marine Corps. He married Elaine Kerperien in Flint, Michigan on January 9, 1965. He retired from General Motors and was a member of UAW Local 598. Surviving are his wife, Elaine; children, Mark, Scott (Diana), Jackie (Daniel); daughter-in-law, Julie; grandchildren, Jason Matthews, Emmalee, Cassadee, Bryanna, Megan, Nathan, Bryan, Brendan, Tanner; great granddaughter, Maizee.
