Herma Duffield

DUFFIELD, Herma Agnes - Age 87, of LaPorte, TX formerly of Fenton, died Tuesday, July 21. 2015. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, July 27, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Burial immediately following in Cadillac Memorial Gardens - West in Westland. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and Monday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice. Mrs. Duffield was born March 3, 1928 in Garden City, the daughter of George and Anna (Taylor) Bellman. She married Leslie Duffield August 9, 1975 in Plymouth and he preceded her in death July 14, 2001. She had been employed by K-Mart for many years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening. Surviving are: son, James Stamper; step daughters, Cheryl Duffield, Sally Martinez, and Mary Anne Britton; step son, Chris Duffield; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; brother, Thomas Bellman; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Mary Stamper; brother, Frank Bellman and sisters, Evelyn Lowry, Mary Westpfall, and Frances Bower.
