Heriberto "Herb" Feliciano, Sr.

Mr. Heriberto "Herb" Feliciano, Sr. -- Age 86, the last born child of the late Juan Feliciano and Rosa Padilla, was born April 4, 1937 in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico, and died January 8, 2024.

Herb traveled to America, circa 1958, to pursue a better life and opportunities in the automotive industry. Herb started his career with the Hamady Bros Grocery chain in the late 50’s. He started working at GM and spent 40 years in his career and devoted his entire existence to his family. He spent countless hours trying to make a better life for his family. Herb was all things summer. You’d often find him sitting outside enjoying the heat, or next to a TV watching his beloved Tigers. To step into the house was stepping into the past with a classic western or his favorite country music channel on the TV.

The love of his life, Carolyn (Keen) Feliciano preceded him in death on June 2, 2020 after nearly 60 years of marriage. Four children were the result of their union: Heriberto “Ed” Feliciano Jr. (Gwenn), Joseph Michael Feliciano, Rodney DuShane-Feliciano (Jeff), and Jennifer Dyann Feliciano-Dunn (John). Herb was also preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Rosa and his siblings, Olga, Juan “Joe”, and Flo.

He adored his grandchildren and spent as much time with them as he could. He leaves behind 3 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and his great-great grandchild: Melissa (Abigail, Isabella, Ellie, Liam), Timothy (Jacob and Kadin), Jessica (Lance, Seth, Selena (Miguel), and Olivia).

There will not be any services. Arrangements have been handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc.
