Herbert Wiggins

WIGGINS, Herbert Leroy - Age 87, of Howell, died February 4, 2017. Services will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Pastor Matt Parks will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service. Herbert was born September 23, 1929 in Byron, the son of Ralph and Ruth (Ketchum) Wiggins. Herbert was a farmer. He worked for Livingston County where he served on the Planning Commission, served as Supervisor for Deerfield Township and retired from Howell Public Schools. He is survived by his children, Donna Michling, Glen Wiggins, David Wiggins, Bill (Leslie) Vilders, Debbie (Larry) Stuhrberg and John Wiggins; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Marlete Rockwood. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay; siblings, Marilyn, Herman, Bob, Irving and Pauline; three grandchildren.
