TOWNSEND, Herbert George- Age 68, of Flint, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Services will be held 2PM Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Chaplain Hank Messing officiating. Herbert was born November 11, 1946 in Durand, MI the son of the late George and Emma Jean Townsend. He married Martha Willcoxson on August 10, 1991 in Flint. Herbert loved to fish and hunt. Mr. Townsend retired form G.M. V-8 Plant with 34 years of service. Surviving are; wife, Martha of Flint; Cats, Fuzzbutt and Hollymae; daughter, Teri (Craig) Bellville of Marion, MI; sons, Herbert Townsend of Jackson, Fred Townsend of Crystal Falls, MI; grandchildren, Zachary, Matthew, Bethany Bellville; sister, Margaret Morrish (Steve Larkin) of Grand Blanc; nephew, Tony (Jody) Morrish of Durand; great niece's Kacie and Kaylie and great nephew, Lee.
