FULLER, Herbert Russell - Age 83, of Linden, passed away August 31, 2024. Herb was born September 10, 1940 in Detroit. He married Karen Anderson on October 22, 1960 in Detroit and they raised their family in Walled Lake. They moved to Pentwater, MI for a semi retirement, before moving to Linden, MI to be closer to his family. Herb worked many jobs in his lifetime; he was an orderly at Grace Hospital, he worked at J and L Steel in warehouses and drove an oil truck. His last job was working for the state of Michigan driving patients to and from their doctors appointments and treatments.
He loved woodworking and built many special things for family and friends. He loved to golf and watch Tigers Baseball. He spent his last few tears living on our family ranch driving around on his golf cart inspecting any work that needed to be done. Herb loved his family and worked hard all his life to provide for them. He was married to his sweetheart for 63 years, the last 4 taking care of her because of memory issues. He loved all of his grand kids with his whole heart and enjoyed spending time with them and hearing about their lives.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Paul Fuller, Donald Fuller, Michael Fuller and Carolyn (Rick) Bach; grandchildren, Paul Scott Fuller, Brenden Fuller; Jacob Fuller, Jeremy Fuller; Timothy Jay Bach, Tyler(Skyler) Bach, Tristan Bach and Truman Bach; great-grandchildren: Owen , Aspen and Luna; brother, Charles E. Fuller; brother-in-law, Bob Ezyk; sister-in-law, Mary Fuller; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mary Elizabeth (Scott) Fuller; siblings, Phyllis (Clifford) Weber; Alice (Tom) Engle; Harolyn Kay Ezyk; James Fuller and Magene (Erwin) Brown.
Herb's memorial and final resting place will be at the family ranch per his wishes.
