Henry Rudi

RUDI, Henry Carl - age 89, of Grand Blanc, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Berean Baptist Church, 6705 Rustic Ridge Trail with Pastor Robert Dickie officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 AM - 2 PM Saturday at the church. Interment will take place at Flint Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Berean Baptist Church. Henry was born December 1, 1928 in Bard, AR, the son of Karl and Lydia (Schechter) Rudi. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Henry married Dorothy Adams on August 30, 1957. He retired from General Motors. Henry enjoyed running, bowling, softball and hunting. He was a member of Berean Baptist Church for over 60 years. Surviving are: wife of 60 years, Dorothy; three sons, David (Sher) Rudi of St. Joseph, MI, Roger (Tammy) Rudi of Fenton, Daniel (Margo) Rudi of Hazel Park, MI; 17 grandchildren, Mark Rudi, Matthew (Tracy) Rudi, Mallory Schomaker, Tamie Taylor, Joseph Martin, Brianna Rudi, Maxwell Rudi, Myles Rudi, Montgomery Rudi, Delaney Rudi, Makayla Rudi, Mercedes Rudi, Dreyden, Rudi, Rylin Rudi, Madison McGue, Mike (Carol) McGue, and Megan (Aaron) Nyholm; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Albert (Dorothy) Rudi of Paragould, AR, Karl (Sandra) Rudi of Marmaduke, AR, and Robert Rudi of Marmaduke, AR; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Erna; and five grandchildren, Jayden, Dylan, Mackenzie, Savannah, and Monroe. Friends may share a tribute at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
