Cohoon, Henry E., "The Candyman" age 80, of Grand Blanc, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010. Funeral services will be 1PM, Thursday, October 14, 2010 from Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township. Visitation will be 12-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Faith Tabernacle. Henry was born in Clio the son of Warner and Grace (Brewster) Cohoon. He married Joanne Wheeler in Flint, May 28, 1949. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle, where he was known as the "Candyman", retired from GM after 39 years, was a member of U.A.W. #598, a volunteer fireman for Flint Township, on the board of Flint Service Federal Credit Union, and golfed in the Pro Am's. Survivors include his wife, Joanne, children, Joni (Jim) Gibson, Henry Cohoon Jr., Juli (Malcolm) Campbell, Wayne, (Wendy) Cohoon, 6 grandchildren, Andi, Aaron, Malcolm, Donald, Adam, Eric, 10 great grandchildren, and special friend Bob. He was preceded in death by 2 daughters Jeannie, Jill, granddaughter Rain, brothers Dallas and Dale and 5 sisters.
