Henry Harold COHEN

COHEN, Henry Harold - age 73 of Byron, died Friday, March 30, 2012. Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden with Seventy Richard Hawks officiating. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Sunday and 6-8 PM Monday. Henry was born August 2, 1938 in Detroit, the son of Max and Marguerite (Dancer) Cohen and was a 1957 graduate of Royal Oak High School. Henry was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was married to Alice J. Minton on August 14, 1962 in Detroit. Mr. Cohen was a self employed Electrical Engineer, retiring in 1997. He was a member of Community of Christ Church and Byron VFW Post #5822. Surviving are: wife, Alice; children, Cathi Brownfield, David (Linda) Cohen, John (Wendy Tamlyn) Cohen, Ryan (Christie) Cohen, John Spooner (Mary Paff) of Howell; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Maxine Minelli; foster brother, Kenneth (Janice) Matthewson.
