Helenmary CHANDLER

CHANDLER, Helenmary - Age 88, of Fenton, passed away April 5, 2011 at her residence. A private celebration of life will be held. Those desiring may make contributions to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Helenmary was born June 25, 1922 in Flint, the daughter of Winifred and Philip Harry Arnold. She was a 1939 graduate of Flint Central High School. She was married to Alan Chandler in 1943 when he was on leave from the Army; he preceded her in death on April 7, 1999. Mrs. Chandler was a homemaker and also worked as a bookkeeper for area businesses. She attended the first church service at First Church of Christ, Scientist in Fenton, where she remained very active and held many positions. Surviving are: children, David Chandler of Longmont, CO, Kate Chandler of Boulder, CO, Sarah Chandler of Freeport, ME, Rebecca Baustert of Fenton; grandchildren, Cody Allen, Dane Allen and Patrick Chandler. She will be missed by many, especially her close friends, Jeri Joyner and Gerry Bell. Mrs. Chandler was also preceded in death by her daughter, Christina Carol Chandler.
