WOLF, Helen R. -- Age 90, of Flint, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 6, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, September 11, 2015 at United in Christ Lutheran Church, 6300 Corunna Rd., Flint with Rev. Steven C. Stahlhut officiating. Interment will follow at Bendle Cemetery, Clayton Township. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM - 11 AM Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to United in Christ Lutheran Church. Helen was born August 23, 1925 in Flint the daughter of Joseph and Susan (Soltis) Ruhala. She graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1943. Helen married William Herbert Wolf April 3, 1948 in Flint he preceded her in death on June 15, 1999. She was an Administrative Secretary at GMI (now Kettering University) retiring in 1982 after 30 years of service and a member of I.B.G. for 8 years. She was a very active member of United in Christ Lutheran Church. She is survived by 2 children, Rev. Dr. Joan Jacobson-Wolf (Dr. Donald Jacobson M.D) of Racine, WI, Richard and (Susan Martin) Wolf of Weatherford TX; 4 grandchildren, Lara (Tim) Cordell, Heidi Jacobson, Joanie (Eric) Stemplewski, Ludvin Jacobson; great grand children, Adrian Marzan, Sora Stemplewski, and Grayson Cordell: sisters in law, Alma Zuelling of Frankenmuth, Edna Hovey of Naples FL; many nieces and nephews and many loving friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; 6 brothers; 3 sisters. The family would like to extend a special thank you to a special niece Joann and husband Ken Cathey for all of the assistance they provided.
