Helen Robert

Helen Marie Robert, age 91, of Flint, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 11:00AM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley Street in Flint. Visitation will be held prior to Mass starting at 10:00AM at the church. Interment will be held at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences can be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.

Helen was born on November 12, 1931 in Cash, Arkansas to the late Frank Rose and Essie (Stevens) Rose. Helen married Eber Lou on July 30, 1955. Helen was the matriarch of the family. Her kind and gentle spirit will be greatly missed.  Helen was an amazing cook and hosted many holiday's and family gatherings. In her earlier years she enjoyed keeping a veggie garden and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. In her spare time she loved to read, especially mysteries.

She is survived by her four children, Beverly Anne Gray, LaChelle Smith, Robin Renee Robert and Dawn Marie (Tim) Long; grandchildren, Eric Daniel Gibbs, Jason (Melissa) Smith, Adam (Brandy) Long and Tyler (Lauren) Long; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Bryce, Bella Anne and Aurora. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Robert, Ray, Jack, Terry, husband Eber Lou and sons-in-law, Robert Gray, Jerry Gibbs and William Smith
