Helen Marie Pepin

PEPIN, Helen M. (Mahoney- Age 74, of Lennon, died Sunday, January 22, 2006 at Avalon Hospice.  Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Thursday, January 26, 2006 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church.  Rev. Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant.  Interment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes; Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek from 1-4 and 5-8 PM Tuesday and Wednesday.  A vigil service will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.  Those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice or Shriners Hospital for Children.  Helen was born July 22, 1931 in Flint the daughter of John P. and Katharine A. (Purcell) Mahoney.  She was a 1949 graduate of St. Michaels Catholic High School and a 1952 graduate of St. Marys Nursing School in Saginaw.  She married Joseph John Pepin October 17, 1953 in Flint and has resided in Lennon since 1969 coming from Flint.  She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Altar Society, Flushing V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #5666, Swartz Creek Friendship Club and the alumni association at St. Marys School of Nursing.  Surviving are:  husband, Joseph John; 4 children, John L. and wife Cindy T. Pepin of Burton, Kathleen M. Riker of Swartz Creek, Carol A. and husband John M. Tracey of Northville, Robert J. and wife Traci A. Pepin of Swartz Creek; 9 grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Jason, Ryan, Lauren, Chelsea, Kellen, Bryan and Jimmy; brother, Robert J. and wife Linda Mahoney of California; sister, Katharine A. and husband John A.
