Helen Ogles

Ogles, Helen Ann - Age 86, of  Swartz Creek, died July 20, 2022. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Tuesday July 26 at Sharp Funeral Homes,  Miller Road Chapel, 8138. Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. (A live stream of Helen's  service will be available on Helen's website page at www.sharpfuneralh homes.com) Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 5-7 PM Monday July 25, and 10AM until the time of the service Tuesday, July 26. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimers Association. Helen was born January 27, 1936 in Lake City, Arkansas, the daughter of Charles and Ruby (Craft) Hafer . Helen married Kenneth Ogles on June 8, 1955 and he preceded her in death December 8, 2000. She worked for Kmart Foods for many years. She worked for Shifrin Jewelers earning the rank of one of the top 10 sales associates in the country. She had the most gentle soul and never met a stranger. Helen was a devout Christian. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. Surviving are: her children, Kenneth Lyle (Debra) Ogles, Jr., Christy Ogles-Campbell, Shirley (Mike) Hinton; grandchildren, Kendra, Aaron, Cameron, Shae, and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Lucy; brother Ferris Hafer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 46 years, Kenneth; sister Mary Pat "Patsy'; and brother Jackie "Jack" Hafer.  The family would like to express their gratitude to all that helped during Helen's illness.
